An indecent photo was sent from his account on the social networking site on Friday night. The photo, which shows a man from the waist down wearing bulging gray underwear, was sent to a woman who is a journalism student in the Seattle area. She quickly deleted her Twitter and Facebook accounts after the incident.
In an e-mail Sunday, Weiner spokesman Dave Arnold told The Post’s Felicia Son
mez, “This is intended to be a distraction, and we’re not going to let it become one. Anthony’s accounts were obviously hacked. He doesn’t know the person named by the hacker, and we will be consulting on what steps to take next.”
After the incident, Weiner deleted photos he had uploaded to his account. He tweeted, “Tivo shot. FB hacked. Is my blender gonna attack me next? #TheToasterIsVeryLoyal.
