SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick has declared a state of emergency after at least two tornadoes struck central and western Massachusetts. He says four people were killed. More than 40 injures have been reported in Springfield.JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) — State officials in Missouri say everyone reported missing from the May 22 tornadoin Joplin has been accounted for. At least 134 people have been confirmed killed. Residents are now being told to take precautions as crews begin to clear millions of cubic feet of debris.
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Officials at Lambert Airport in St. Louis say it could take up to a full year to fully recover from the April 22 tornado. No one was killed but the airport was badly damaged, especially one of the concourses.
