Washington Street sees second robbery in a week 

Police are investigating a second bank robbery on Washington Street in a week after a man allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank at 5 p.m. on Friday.

Police were called for a similar incident on May 24 at Rockland Trust Bank in North Braintree Square.

In both instances, a white male in his 20s or 30s approached the teller and demanded money with a written note. No weapon was shown in either robbery, and no one was injured.
