Ogdensburg man convicted for gun crimes

OGDENSBURG —A city man was convicted Thursday at federal court trial of six of seven counts alleging he falsified gun records and sold guns to drug users.
John K. “Jack” Rumble, 56, of 205 King St., was found guilty of the counts following a six-
day trial in U.S. District Court, Utica.
The jury was hung on a count that Mr. Rumble threatened to kill a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent while in jail awaiting trial.
He has been in federal custody since April 2, 2009, when about 175 shotguns, assault rifles, pistols and revolvers and more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition were found in a raid of his home.
