Motorcyclist injured after colliding with car in Lansing


LANSING - A man was transported to a local hospital this afternoon after the motorcycle he was driving struck a car near the intersection of Jolly and Dunckel roads.
The motorcyclist was traveling east on Jolly Road at about 11:25 a.m. when the driver of a silver Chevrolet Malibu pulled out turning left from a Tim Hortons parking lot in front of the motorcyclist, said Lansing police Sgt. Joe Brown.
The motorcyclist struck the driver's side of the Malibu. He did not suffer serious injuries from the crash and was conscious when he was taken away by ambulance, Brown said.
