A Limestone County Grand Jury indicted Matthew Justin Lloyd in connection with the April 30 murder of a central texas man.
ROESBECK (June 3, 2011)- A Limestone County man was will be headed to trial after a grand jury indicted him in a murder case.
Matthew Justin Lloyd remains behind bars Friday, charged in the April 30 murder of a Kosse man.
A neighbor found a body in the yard at 137 E. Quincy St.
A deputy with the Limestone County Sheriffs identified the body as that of Kevin Ray Nevels, of Kosse, who died as a result of blunt force trauma.An investigation led to the arrest of Lloyd, who had been placed at the scene by suspect witnesses.At the scene, police found what was believed to be the murder weapon, but have not released what that item is. Lloyd gave a verbal confession.
A grand jury indicted Lloyd on May 16, according to records released Thursday.
He is currently being held in the Limestone County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
